Pinnacle Audiology
Audiology Centre
We want to be your first choice when it comes to anything hearing related, so we have invested in the very latest hearing testing and fitting equipment – we even have a sound booth!
We have created our very own brand for our hearing care services Pinnacle Audiology.
In house Audiologist – for a service you can trust
We are dedicated to ensuring our audiology service is to the same high standards as our optical and contact lenses service, so we have expanded our team to include an experienced Audiologist, rather than use a third-party company.
We are one of a few practices in the country to be using the first 3D digital Otoscan. Traditional hearing aid fitting requires the use of creating a putty mold within the ear itself. The Otoscan is the future of hearing care, It creates a 3D scan of the inner ear using a different wavelength of light. It is non-invasive, highly accurate and more comfortable than the traditional method.
The latest hearing aid technology
We will be offering the very latest in hearing aid technology from the leading manufacturers in the industry. Whether you want state of the art technology for the clearest sound, or the discreetness of an invisible hearing aid, we will work with you to find your perfect device.

Full Hearing Assessment
This is our most comprehensive assessment and will last about 90 minutes, we want to allow the time to get know you and your hearing needs.
Our highly qualified audiologist will discuss your hearing needs, lifestyle including general medical history and ear medical history.
It is often helpful to bring a family member or close friend to this appointment. They can provide a familiar voice to help you hear any improvements and help with any decision you make.
Using the very latest hearing evaluation technology along with our soundproof booth will review the health of your ears and assess your hearing function. This will include imaging your ear via the 3D Digital Otoscan. We will review these images with yourself, along with the results of your comprehensive hearing assessment.
If we identify a hearing impairment that can be improved with hearing aids, we can demonstrate the benefits and features of the hearing aids.
We are proud to offer the most advanced hearing aids, with an extensive selection and exclusive aftercare packages. Being truly independent we have access to the whole audiology market.

Micro Suction Ear Wax Removal
Ear wax (Cerumen) is a normally occurring substance and is produced naturally within the ear canal.
The role of ear wax is to protect, lubricate and assist with cleaning the ear canal. Ear wax will generally fall out on its own accord often when sleeping.
Occasionally this process can be prevented and causes the wax to build up and blocking the ear canal. This can happen because of excess ear wax production, narrow ear canals or using cotton buds to clean the ears. We do not recommend the use of cotton buds to remove ear wax.
Symptoms of blocked ears due to ear wax can be unpleasant but may include hearing loss, tinnitus, itching and discharge. If you are suffering from any of these, we would recommend booking a full hearing health assessment initially, this allows us a comprehensive analysis of your ear health.
Ear wax can obstruct the view of the ear drum during a hearing health assessment and you may require this wax to be removed to ensure a full assessment of the health of your ears.
Micro suction wax removal is the safest, efficient and no fluid is used resulting in less risk of infection.
Prior to wax removal we recommend the use of an ear wax softener a couple of days in advance of your wax removal appointment. This assists with softening the wax, meaning a greater ease for removal.
